Speakers in Schools was lucky enough to head to the mining town of Broken Hill, with two speakers and a volunteer joining us!!

Chris Eves moved to Adelaide from Perth approximately 2 years ago after being offered an opportunity to further has career within the building industry at CONSTRUCT. Chris focused his presentation on the building industry as well as demonstrating to the students that anything that you put your mind to is possible.

Mary Aloisi from DRIFT also joined the Speakers in Schools team in Broken Hill along with one of her DRIFT volunteers, Celeste, who definatly got all the students moving with ice breakers before the presentation which proved to be a lot of FUN!! Maryexpresseed to the students the importance of communicating their feelings during their adolescence as well as highlighting that no matter what happens today, tomorrow is a new day!!

Broken Hill High, Alma Public School and Willyama High School students were enthusiastic, asking many questions as well as being earger to continue conversations with the speakers after the presentation.

Our speakers were also lucky enough to conduct their presentations on th 'School of the Air' being filmed while speaking on air which was then broadcasted via satellite to students in remote areas within country NSW and QLD. This was a very unique experience during the regional tour!!

What a motivating and worthwhile tour, one of two planned for interstate and four planned for regional areas.

To our speakers, a sincere thank you for a job 'WELL DONE'!
