Speakers in Schools made its way to Roxby Downs on 23 and 24 February, visiting not only Roxby Downs but Woomera and Andamooka. With six speakers joining us, we started the tour with Clayton Burt and Pip Moorehead, both from BHP Billiton. Both speakers spoke about their career paths and explained how they got to where they are today. Pip engaged the students by involving them in a leadership game, which not only allowed the students to learn about leadership but also had them in fits of laughter!

To acknowledge the valuable contribution of our speakers, Advantage SA holds an annual Speakers in Schools Awards program. The awards are presented at the end of each year and recognise the outstanding effort provided by our speakers throughout the year.
